On Travel and Nostalgia

I dont know if the twisty part on the journal is bothering me or nah

You know that feeling of traveling to a place for the first time. The feeling you have when you're getting your luggage and there are mobile network ads welcoming you to so and so place. You drink in the sights and smells of the airport arrivals section. The constant noise of conversation and rolling luggage trolleys. It makes daydream about all the places you'll visit, the faces you'll see, the smells, the noises you will hear, the photographs you will take. But most of all, the adventures you will have and the memories you'll treasure forever.

YALL. I've been having some major wanderlust rn. Like my best friend, Tee and I are basically like "mmkay let's do Lamu Island, hop on over to Mozambique and then skip to Madagascar" as if we have all the money in the world. #brokebestfriends #struggles #ugh

Are there any places you want to visit like yesterday? Like if someone gave you a round trip ticket or 5 to go anywhere, WHERE WOULD YOU GO?

Blessed is he, whose help in the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the Lord his God, the Maker of heaven and earth, the sea and everything in them - the Lord, who remains faithful forever. Psalm 146: 5-6

  1. I am so with you on the wanderlust, Norkor! I have never been out of the country so naturally, I'm itching to travel the world. If I got a round trip ticket to somewhere is want it to be Europe!

  2. Okay, the twisty thing bothers me. :) I would go to Spain, Australia, Rio, Israel, Egypt, Switzerland, London, Paris. I've been to most of those places but I would love to go back. I love traveling.
    Love that verse too.

  3. Gosh, know the feeling. I hop on a plane to London, or jet over to New York City, Fly out to LA, visit a few different friends that I have been wanting to visit. If only...

  4. I would go to New York, London, Abu Dhabi, Colorado, and Indiana. I have friends in all of those places. I miss them dearly and wish I could afford to visit them all this year.

Now this, this construes my thoughts exactly. I can definitely relate as I just got back from travelling, and oh my Norkor you know how to read a girl's mind.
I wouldn't know where to start to begin with, if I were given the choice to go wherever I please. The Maldives, New Zealand and most parts of Scandinavia would be up there on the list though!
